Annapurna Skatepark

With an approximate size of 700m2 Nepal's second skatepark is a space that offers numerous lines amongst its range of elements. All with the Annapurna mountain range as a backdrop, replicated by a marble-topped quarter! Runs can be started from the tight transition pocket positioned on top of the banked hips. From here lines can go through a style of snake run with hipped transitions and rollovers leading to a transition wall and taco corner. Alternatively, there is a street area including ledges, hubba's, rails, and pole jam. Finally, there is a banked wall with a kerb that leads towards a beginner's path featuring a low ledge and mellow transition. All delivered through donations and international/local volunteers. Definitely worth the trek! Design: Eastbywest/Community Collective/Make Life Skate Life Construction: International volunteers and local community Photos: Sevenbythree Concrete park with all the good stuff, thanks to the good guys at https://makelifeskatelife.org and http://www.thecommunitycollective.com.au
